TANSŌ is a contemporary Japanese restaurant located in Jumeirah 1, Dubai. Named after the Japanese word for carbon, the concept draws inspiration from the quiet power of fire—bringing together charcoal-grilled specialities, delicate sushi and sashimi, and modern Japanese flavours. The result is a warm, expressive dining destination that balances Japanese tradition with the energy of Dubai’s cosmopolitan restaurant scene.

LEVELS led the development of TANSŌ’s visual identity and brand expression, translating the concept into a refined and distinctive visual language. The identity was carried across a complete suite of guest-facing collateral, including menus, packaging, stationery and tableware applications, creating a consistent experience at every touchpoint. Together, these elements established a cohesive brand world designed to feel as considered and memorable as the food itself.
